[ It would have been difficult for Hilda to not recall the birds; she had spent a whole afternoon watching Viktor improve them and helped him test them by running around the city. There's a curve of her lips at the recollection - less at the memory of her pinched toes and more at seeing Viktor work that day.

When Viktor produces his idea, the expression on her face is...less than enthusiastic. Her lips press out in a thoughtful pout. There's no doubt that it'll work mechanically. But appearance wise it is sort of what she expects considering the general aesthetic of Viktor's inventions. Namely industrial and functional. ]


But don't you think there's something to be said about it being more friend-shaped? May I?

[ And if Viktor does grant her pen and sketchbook back she produces her own idea. ]
