[Comforting, in a way. That they're all connected via the great, grand web of the multiverse. But overwhelming, too, in that this same web is endless, branching out in infinite directions, the even then few times he's been sent wheeling through it, he saw only a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of it. To feel so small can be terrifying as much as it can be grounding.

But he doesn't linger on that thought, of course. Once more, his focus is on Urianger and his enthusiasm to speak on the subject matter. They take another turn around the dance floor as he listens.]


And how was this discovery taken? I can't imagine very lightly.

[Differences among universes--and thirteen of them, "sundered" from, what? One original universe?--are to be expected, but it sounds as though one simply had the right of it where magic was concerned, and the rest did not. That would upend an entire system for the rest, would it not?]
