Call me selfish, but your company would be missed. However, I’d understand if you were to go home. { there’s a slight fall to his own smile, one that he recovers quickly since he doesn’t want to dwell on those thoughts, on what has become of his life in dubai. of course he misses armand, but in what capacity is his struggle to comprehend. there’s a guilt there, and more so when he hears thorne.

he does like the promise of something to work towards. as the tea leaves land into a little ripple of the brewed tea, he regains his full smile. }

The majority of people truly aren’t terrible. I’ve learned there is kindness in strangers. I have been reminded of it here. I will say, the technology makes it easier. Now with the horizon, we can will anything. I’d like to show you mine one day.

{ self-made into what lays in his heart, and manifested from a visit that unfolded more than he thought when he went in without memories. he leans in to glance at the tea. }

Funny how that works. People can be pulled from different time periods of our life. Hopefully you find good company in them. { which makes him have a hope he shouldn’t have, for a claudia before he lost her to arrive. he pushes that aside, the guilt still following him as he considers claire’s question. louis is trying to move on, but could he ever? complicated truly is an understatement. he glances back at her, and he decides then that he’s going to be honest about it. selectively of course, but at least he can say his part. }

I do have someone here. Another vampire. He’s my maker. He was also my lover. Some might say we were vampire married. I spent decades with him, but we didn’t part on good terms. Now he’s here. I’m here. I won’t lie, it threw me off to see him. It’s odd to think we’re back to it just being us, except it’s literal.
