[This is the first time he's heard of these sorts of changes, which is interesting, but also... Creepy. Getting some sort of magic or power that can be used as desired is one thing, having some sort of actual physical changes is not so much, and he's briefly reminded of some of the changes he'd seen--and experienced--from the ritual in the pit.

But naturally pink hair, or even little horns, are not that terrible, and nothing like the results of the ritual. It's fine. Nothing to be worried about.

He finally remembers his drink, which he picks up and sips to give himself a moment to get his thoughts in order.]

I guess that might make sense, that goin' to the Horizon would cause it.

[Since the connection to the Singularity and all that. Interesting to note that it can also be caused by other events, but he's distracted from that thought when something else comes to mind--]

The person who I saw use one of these spontaneous powers didn't have to do any hand motions or anythin' like that. It looked more like using a power in the Horizon.
