I think it's just easier for people to blame what they don't understand, what's bigger than 'em, than it is to blame people. They want to believe that just 'cause they wouldn't do somethin', that everyone wouldn't. 'Cause it's wrong or whatever. Good folks can't understand bad folks -- there always has to be somethin' else to blame. God, the devil, luck, whatever. The Singularity. They don't want to admit that there's a lot of bad people out there. Out here. And the ones here don't even think of us as really human. It's easy to hurt non-humans.

Her entire demeanor changes; she becomes chipper and bubbly within the seconds as she shuts away the darkness in favor of a subject she loves dearly. ]
