If he's going to physically isolate himself, he can still have a way to transcend distances, see the few people here he maybe likes. Himeka, for one. Based on how this is going, Estinien, maybe. It occurs to him he has no idea where Mal ended up, or even Geralt. So. That just brings him to his other problem.
