Istredd vaguely understands what he's saying when he attempts to explain. Owning a concept or a spell. Interesting. They'd just take the money from me, no doubt. Although if it was useful, having vampire friends couldn't hurt. And he's not talking about the Summoned vampires. Thorne would likely see that as a bad thing though.
