Surprising to some, Abby is remarkably covered considering how regularly her outfits show off her her arms whenever she has the option. Of course, a day on the beach, with skin like her’s, she’s not going to turn herself into a lobster just for people to ogle. She also has sunglasses and a big floppy hat with her when she’s not under an umbrella, tree, or awning.
Which is where she spends most of the day. Either watching people enjoy the water, or watching people enjoy being with each other. She has a book, which she isn’t reading. It is there to anchor her bag to the towel she’s on. She does look fairly bored and disconnected so she’s probably up for talking to anyone who comes her way.
B. Sandcastles in the Sand
Once Abby bores of sitting and watching, she starts a modest sandcastle project. It started as a four tower with walls between them. But she has doubled the height of each tower, then added more towers and expanded the castle to a large walled garrison roughly three feet by three feet, taking delicate care not to destroy any of it.
She’s really gotten focused on the project she’s set herself, which combined with her burgeoning magic means various parts of the walls and towers glitter in the sun. More than normal. Like she’s buried small gemstones in the walls. Be wary, Abby’s glitter has a habit of sticking to people that break her creations.
C. Summer Nights
Once the sun has started to set Abby has ditched her shirt and goes with just the bikini top and shorts. She’ll be a lot more gregarious and open to chat now that she feels more comfortable moving around. Firelight and darkness are far more her speed than the bright glare of the sun.
She even goes swimming, ditching her shorts as close to the water as she can to head in for some night swimming. She is wearing a bikini bottom under them. Although she won’t be leaving the water with anyone she knows around. Rushing as fast she can to her towel when she’s ready to get out.
