There it is again, that familiar note in her voice. But when he holds up this one piece of the puzzle to try to match it with his memory, his mind is a murky blank. It's bugging him, but if he can't solve the guessing game, he can at least try to catch this damn lizard.

"Yeah, I speak reptile." Turning with a swish of his cloak, he creeps slowly toward the lizard. "Wait, are frogs reptiles? Shit...I think they might be amphibians..."

At this point the lizard, which has sat still all this time, watching his approach with sharp eyes, suddenly scuttles higher in the rose bush.
