While she doesn't have to name drop anyone, an apt description of her experience might be enough to tip them off if her masked friend's true identity happens to be them.

She could lie about it, say that it was an external factor that contributed to it. Or she could just figure out who the identity of the person is under the mask. It's not like her to think extensively long or hard about the consequences of things; normally she left that for other people in life and for good reason. This is exhausting.
