he watches her fingers dance up his arm, and there is the smallest hint of trepidation there if only...yeah, okay, this woman is really cool. ( aka hilda is really pulling it off, congratulations) and part of steve isn't convinced she won't just tell him no and walk away.
thankfully that does not happen, and she slips her hand in his, and steve is. absolutely smiling - proud, glad, excited. it's not a grin thankfully, that would be far too lame, but hey. he's still got it. ]

Ah- I have had my fair share of adventures. [ most of them less than great, but hey, who doesn't love an adventure cloaked in what is definitely an 80s horror movie? still, steve says it with enough of that ~ air ~ to it, kind of like he's indiana jones or something. ] But for this- it's always best to start with a drink. Here, just this way.
