Officially, yes. According to Thorne. Unofficially, I suspect they all want their share of the assets.

[ Once Thorne proved it was possible to summon a batch of them, it only stands to reason the other nations would want the same. To do otherwise would set them behind on the world stage, and what sovereignty would allow that? Especially when the world is on the cusp of war?

Even accepting the Fey's invitation feels like something of a political statement. He hates the idea of his very existence being such. If there's one thing he preferred about the Continent, it was his ability as a Witcher to remain neutral. To ignore those invisible walls people draw. Here, that ground is much less firm. ]


They didn't take you for your magical expertise. They've more than enough mages for that. They want to use us for our unique connection to the Singularity. And perhaps for whatever experiences back home propel our understanding of it.
