There they are making out in public in a way that probably is going to get inappropriate quickly, but that's never stopped either of them before. Jesper cups Kaz's cheek, runs through his dark hair, tangles fingers tightly in the strands.
He only stops the kiss so they can breathe. As usual, Jesper doesn't actually care that much about where they are. The two of them are dangerous in public settings. Gray eyes, silver in moments like this, look at Kaz and catches his breath as best as he can. "I love you, Kaz. There's nothing I wouldn't do for you."
And that is an answer all on its own. Jesper isn't going to promise anything. He will do his best not to do things that Kaz wouldn't want, but at the end of the day, he'll sacrifice and he'll protect and he'd be lying to say otherwise. They got to their people in time, that's what mattered. But it won't be the last time they're in trouble.
