local wallachia man goes feral for the kitchen aid

[For being from medieval Wallachia, Alucard has enjoyed a fairly advanced kitchen all things considered. When your father is nearly 400 and has nothing else to do with his time but invent, some things are inevitable. It made coming to Cadens quite comfortable. The kitchens were roughly what he was accustomed to, and the dhampir genuinely enjoyed cooking. He was the one responsible for making sure that the Witcher and company's residence was stocked with pierogi at any given time.

The idea of gadgets though had not occurred to Dracula. Why would Dracula make a blender? The novelty was why Alucard had pounced on the original thing. It carried possibilities, and less need for him to do things like abuse dhampir speed to whip egg whites or cream.

He appreciates the little touches in entering Julie's domain. It isn't the overwhelming garden party. It's quiet, well hosted via Steven, and the crowds have no interest in them. He treads lightly all the same, wanting to respect the space. Treating the domain of others the way he wants his respected feels like a basic kindness.

Alucard can appreciate the maximalism on display. Colors are always welcome in his opinion, and it feels just lived in enough. There are questions about the dinosaur in a bowtie, but frankly that is for a very different day indeed.

It's impossible to ignore that the décor in the kitchen aligns with the rest of Julie's domain. Thinking harder about it, Alucard considers that there is a curatorial undertone in all of this - a display meant to be taken a certain way. But never mind that. He's here to digest kitchen things, and like a moth to a flame, he's sidled himself up to the stand mixer. A man has to have priorities.]

And these all came out within...what, 100 years, more or less? A century of culinary innovation?

[He's trying to play it cool. Like this isn't one of the most exciting things about the future. Humans catch up in the kitchen and then go even further.]
