Istredd is his usual busy self within the castle, easy to spot wandering the halls on his way to teaching or to hole up in the library. He is willing to stop or slow down if someone catches up to talk to him, or stay behind if they want to talk after a class. Anyone can join him while eating or bathing, where he typically brings a book to read or write notes in if he's not with Lucifer.

Now that Borrel is open he reluctantly has accepted that is his only option as Hayle did not win out, and so he does visit the military city. He doesn't have much interest in the beach or nice weather, but he does visit any bookstores they have there and seems to have a keen eye on the military base. He admires the sea glass architecture and curiously looks through the new environment. It may not be what he wanted, but it's something.

Istredd seems a little more comfortable in Nott now that he's visited a few times, sometimes with Lucifer, and spends a lot of time in Oks, the bookshop there. The owner Old Red wasn't sure about him before, but she seems warmer to him now that he's a regular visitor. Someone may even catch her laughing with him, a rare occurrence, but book fans always find one another. He doesn't stay long in Nott, usually only for a visit to Oks, but he is always back long before dark.
