sleepfan: (Slight Surprise)

[The library at night is supposed to be quiet. That is why Linhardt has taken to haunting it at such weird hours: Since most people were asleep, they were not in the library and using the books that he needed. Or claiming tables. Or having the audacity to talk to one another. Or just exist in Linhardt's general vicinity: concentrating on work is difficult when he is also trying to keep track of where everyone in the room is located.

Also it means nobody wakes him up when Linhardt needs a quick nap.

Most of the time.

Eliot's spell works - the previously motionless head of green hair moves. Linhardt groans and reaches his arms over his head as he awakens, yawning and rubbing at his eyes. He blinks a few times, trying to get the sleep out of his blue eyes. He would have looked nice if it weren't for the facts that his bun is half undone and his pale skin has marks on it where he'd faceplanted into the open book.

Still groggy, Linhardt's first instinct when presented with a stranger asking him a question is to...answer it.]

It was weird. I was in the sauna with a woman and her name was...Barbie?

[Linhardt has never heard that name before in his life.]

She kept insisting on taking her towel off and having me brush her hair, even though I told her that it would make her hair look terrible.

[It is unadvised to brush one's hair in the sauna, particularly if it was at all liable to frizz.]

Then she kept trying to get me to go to a party. I despise parties.

[Finally, Linhardt is awake enough to focus on what truly matters. His eyes hone in on Eliot's hands and what is in them.]

You had best have kept my place. I need that.
