[Closed] If I was dying on my knees, You would be the one to rescue me
Who: Rhy Maresh, Kell Maresh
When: sometime in the first half of August,
Where: Borrel
What: Just sightseeing trip
Warnings: Alcohol, swearing, mentioned past cruelty towards animals (it's those damned birds, don't ask), romantic attraction between adopted brothers.
The establishment of Conclave and electing it's representatives was supposed to be an acknowledgement that not only the Summoned make contributions to the nations they reside in, but as a form of apology for all the suffering they were subjected to as result of them being here.
However, in the true Thorne fashion, whenever they ask for something, they don't quite get it. They asked for weapons they got a gated, conditional permission. As if the crown was able to protect them at all times.
They asked for portal to Hayle - something Kell had personal stake in, because of their University - they got one to a military port city of Borrel. With a vague promise that there might be an option of staying over night there somewhere in the future. It's not exactly a tourist location, but Kell was there once, very briefly, and if he had any impression it was lack of one. No impression is better than a bad one. It's as a perfectly bland place as you would expect from a city glued to a navy port.
Still, it's an option, open now while for Nocwich they will have to wait. For the first time in his life, Kell finds himself on a mission to drag Rhy to have fun and away from work. Honestly, the determination Rhy has thrown himself with into his Nott project is down right scary.
"One day. They won't let us stay overnight anyway. Rhy, please. You can take a break for one day, can't you?"
