[ The beast is some sort of huge, animal-like bipedal droid, all mechanical. Cal is used to fighting droids—shoutout to DT sentry droids, some of the worst of all time—but none quite as massive as the beast he's struggling to hold in Force stasis.
More citizens scramble past him to get away—except for one fellow redhead who dashes forward instead, brandishing some kind of bladed spear, wreathed in fire. Magickal fire, maybe?
Doesn't matter, really—Cal can use all the help he can get to, at best, fend this thing off. At worst, distract it for a while so people can flee. ]
