Istredd isn't a professional healer and they'll need to get Kyle to the big ones in the infirmary, but patch work to keep him alive is something he can do. He rounds the corner and doesn't waste time asking because Lucifer can tell him if he needs to. He sees the blood and the wound right away.
If there is anything on the inside that will need healing, they can do that in the infirmary, what he has to do is staunch the bleeding and close the wound up tight until they can get there. He kneels down next to Kyle and puts his hand over the wound, blood covering it but he doesn't mind.
Istredd usually only uses Elder speech when he needs a powerhouse of a use of Chaos and this is one of those times. He repeats the phrase he used before to heal Kyle's hand but this time he sees it forcefully, over and over again, the Elven language sliding off his tongue. The wounds burn as the skin and flesh stitch together. It's deeper than the hand so it requires that constant chanting and it closes seconds later.
He puts his other hand on Kyle's forehead and pushes with his mind. ]
