[ The image of the large metal blob (as it turns out, all of the descriptions were entirely accurate) doesn't bring to mind something that can create fire, and yet Thancred had seen some of the scorched farmland on the way here. It reminds him far too much of what happened with Nott, and yet this location is even further out. While they might be able to repeat the spells that put out the flames before, it will take more time to coordinate, and the croplands are bound to suffer.

They need to put a stop to this absurd creature before it does any more damage. ]
