[ She hums contentedly, letting herself shift to lie facing him. No, she's not alone anymore; in fact, Julie has never felt less alone than she does at this point in her life. Even well into her months in Abraxas, she still felt so isolated and guarded, like no one would ever be able to understand her again. After all, what would be the likelihood that anyone besides Nadine and Lloyd could ever understand the levels of trauma she had endured? That anyone would ever love her enough to bother trying to accommodate her baggage? She hadn't even really entertained that thought before she died.

But that all feels like a lifetime ago now.

Her free arm wraps around his neck, but she doesn't take her other hand from him. Her fingers span his cheek as she sinks into the kiss, with her chest pressed against him. Her voice is lower and softer when she speaks between smiling kisses. ]


We have to make up for all that time you were gone.

[ So what if it's only been two real days since she last saw him? Julie will not let stupid wonky timeline math stop her from having a good time. ]
