"Yeah, I remember. I had a great costume, my mask is hanging up on my wall," he says. "Anyway, from what I learned their moon goddess had a good feeling about us, encouraged them to take the risk and invite us in and see what we were about."

Rocket shrugs.

"I dunno how much of that is the truth or how much they believe in that stuff while some guy higher up than her makes the call but I thought about it, about what they really want from us and what they know about us." The High Priestess seemed nice, but that doesn't mean a whole lot. "Given what happened to some of the other Summoned before I got here, I dunno, it's hard to trust anyone."

And he's never had a single trust issue in his whole (short) life ever, nope, of course not.
