Urianger blinks at the immediate read — but then a chuckle rises to his lips as he shakes his head just a little.

"Ah ... then it must be worse than I thought."

He brushes a lock of flyaway hair back behind a pointed ear before offering a brief sigh. While he isn't especially happy that it's come to this, Istredd's upfont candor is comforting, and he relaxes just a little as he lets himself settle into the company.

"I confess, these last few moons have been difficult. In terms of mine own research, the greater happenings of Abraxas—" and for a moment he pauses, his expression becoming a little pinched, "and most recently, the Anomalous Beasts that did plague each region inhabited by the Summoned."

Potentially regions beyond, too, but that's something he still needs to research.

"I came here tonight to seek thine advice in a matter that might alleviate certain ... concerns."
