All varying degrees of something, is right. And Finn thinks that the Singularity's reach is more than just a theory. They themselves are here, after all, practically proof that it can connect. The portals and beasts that appeared recently seems to suggest that connection remains for at least some time, or that's what Finn got out of the whole experience.
Anyway, he can understand why Istredd enjoys new books in here, and Finn takes the any kind bit to heart, unfortunately. What he has read too much of are manuals. They aren't exactly page turners, not unless you're an engineer or weapons expert, but he does think Istredd would be interested in the technology that Finn's galaxy is capable of... He'll definitely have to add some of those. He absolutely has a few memorized.
But for now, he'll keep that to himself.
He does get a bit starry-eyed when the offer poses itself, though. "Really? I mean, yes, sure, absolutely." It sounds horrifying and exciting all at once. Maybe mostly horrifying, but Finn's all for it, especially at this point. "Even if they aren't the same, I'd like to learn, anyway. Thank you."
