Istredd believes strongly in the Singularity and its connection to the multiverse. It's why he spends so much of his time studying and theorizing about it, and time in the Horizon itself sitting by it. It is real, he knows that much, having been there in person in the real world once. He can eagerly talk about the Singularity for hours given the chance, and has, he just knows better than to annoy a new person with his passion.

He doesn't know advanced technology but having information on it will definitely be exciting for him. He's only heard about it, no one has ever tried to give him books or instructions on the details. Istredd only likes non-fiction and instruction texts so he may not understand a word of it, but he will read it.

He smiles at the enthusiastic reply. "I've taught several Summoned how to use their own magic from home. Some are brand new to it, so I take it from the fundamentals of how I started." So far it's been very successful, so he tries to offer it around whenever possible. Learning how to think and focus can be important, even if they seem small.
