[ yennefer had seen wanda's address to the entirety of the summoned not that long before, and she'd seen the various different responses to it. she'd known wanda had been looking into that form of magic and how it involved itself in this world. yennefer had seen the influence of the gods during the kidnappings, sure - but her own inclinations had always led her to lean away from it all. to focus on other ways. to deal with the issues at hands without the possible influence of greater beings. she and wanda had agreed to do their own separate research, and to keep each other updated. part of her had always thought that one, gods weren't real in the first place, and two, there was always a way around. a solution that didn't need to involve religion.
she also hated to be wrong - and the longer they remained here, the more that pressure sat over her.
