"I can make certain things, but breakfast, not something I've mastered yet." If he did he would probably eat too many waffles! He loves breakfast food. Jesper cooked for him and his father growing up but it was usually pretty pragmatic survival, and then Sam's taught him plenty but he has southern comfort style. Either way, he could cook Wylan dinner, but birthday breakfast, harder.

"I did make it, yeah, the metal isn't easy to get hands on, but you know me. I always find a way." Jesper also can make a lot out of a little when it comes to materials, he's learned that much since he started using his Grisha abilities all the time. Most of his creations are a blend of different materials that he's combined into perfection.

The enchantment he got someone good to do. Jesper's mostly relied on his own powers now that he uses them, he hasn't learned a lot of native magic. He reaches out to snag part of one waffle, winking since he's a thief and that's what he does, and he knows Wylan won't mind.
