It all seems totally believable to Wrench. Wanda's ability to connect with his mind so seamlessly can't be where her powers begin or end. If people in this place have managed to figure out a way to pull all of them here -- and to continue to pull more new Summoned with each additional ritual -- surely it was only a matter of time before one of them figured out how to do the same. But the idea of something trying to communicate is a strange one. Something wanting to be pulled in? Was there any part of Wrench that wanted to be brought here, to a place his conscious could not have even fathomed? Were they all sending off some kind of signal that made them easy to bring here, the way that first animal was?
Did he know what it meant? You said it beckoned him. Was he surprised to see what came out?
Wrench could almost laugh again to think that he's been brought to the solitary neutral spot between two warring factions. His knowledge of the Horizon is still limited and he's barely dipped his toe in to explore, so what he knows about the other two factions is all but nonexistent, but it seems too familiar for him to stand in the middle of opposing forces fighting their own wars.
And you think this will help keep tensions low? It could be a trick, couldn't it? If you're wrong and this is all to further advance the war, what are you willing to lose?
