[ That manages to draw a smile from Erik. There are a number of traits he appreciates in people, but that confidence, maybe even pride, it's pretty high on the list. It also reminds him of Emma. Can't say he minds having a good kind of reminder, for a change. ]

I'm not sure I would ever call a telepath common. But maybe the ones I met have made me biased.
