[ When not lounging around his room with a book in hand or causing mischief with his roommates, Claude can be found browsing the library. It didn't take him long to figure out it was mostly fiction, but why not read up on whatever's here? While wandering the bookshelves in search of nothing in particular, he might not be paying the closest attention to whoever else is around beyond being generally aware of someone's presence nearby. That might mean he turns a corner without really looking first, could be mumbling to himself about where he'd seen one book in particular, or even reaches for the same book at the same time as someone else.
That last one will at least get a sheepish grin - though he'll pause to see who's going to let go of the book first - and, ] Whoops, sorry about that! I didn't think anyone else would be looking for this one, too.
[ Or - if someone's in need of food for themselves, he's available as a partner for either hunting or fishing with the latter being where he might be found as some supposed downtime. It's relaxing enough, anyway, and he might even be reading one of those library books while waiting. When something larger than expected abruptly tugs on the line, the book's set aside as he grabs for the fishing pole to keep it from flying away into the water. Maybe this one should be a team effort? ]

[ With that hunting comes the inevitable: a trip to the firepits to make a meal out of whatever was caught.
Though he normally lets someone more adept in the kitchen handle cooking duties beyond the handful of things he enjoys making for himself, why not embrace the opportunity here? And so embrace it he has whenever it's been his turn to cook for himself or someone else as offered, including testing out a variety of spices (and the peppers) to see what combinations work. In his mind, they all do since he's cooking for his specific tastes here, so whoever's seated before him might have the luck of tasting something rather excellent or something... say... questionable.
