Reacting that strongly to the voice of a governess or tutor that she'd had when she had been younger shouldn't elicit that strong of a reaction and frankly, it's a little embarrassing that she had. Warnings from the Draconae hadn't prepared her for actual voices from her past coming back to haunt her - not that there had been anything that she thought was worth bringing up. Apparently she had thought wrong. If probed further she'd simply chalk it up to the fact that it had caught her off guard; it certainly had nothing to do with her deep seeded anxiety around not being able to live up to her brother's legacy.

Her own surprise comes and goes - before quickly returning as Astarion chucks a rock at the bird with startling accuracy. She can absolutely see the irony in this situation but unlike her pale companion, she's going to show a little more compassion by not making a verbal comment.
