[ Hilda had always erred on the side of keeping to the lighter topics, particularly when she was getting to know someone new. She hadn't intentionally planned on running into the Doctor at the tail end of her recovery, nor had she said the nightmares comment as anything but a throwaway comment.

The concern that she can clearly see on his face fills her with some level of guilt. Here's this person that she didn't know that well still trying to make sure that she was okay when it was the last thing he had to do. The care package, the fussing, the offer to literally rid her of nightmares plaguing her - all of it is reminiscent of things she would have done for others and for that she sees a kindred spirit in some ways. It touches her more than she can say. Her expression softens and she reaches for his hand to give it a squeeze. ]

I've been getting better physically and some nights are easier to sleep than others. I appreciate you looking out for me especially because we're just getting to know one another. Not to mention this is a brand new place and I'm sure you have better things to do than fussing over little ol' me! But just because you're called the Doctor, you don't have to take it upon yourself to look after everyone you know.
