The confirmation they'd managed to do the same thing with the seeds gets an immediate laugh from Claude as he watches Wylan turn one set of leaves into paste. He takes the one meant for different salves for himself to do the same to start another set to experiment with - though that's a very good question which follows it up.

"Huh." Half said to himself, half to Wylan to show he's considering the best way to go about it while scanning their table again. Having copied Wylan in getting a clean bowl for this particular mixture is something Claude decides to copy once more, and with the knife in his hand he gestures to each of their bowls of leaves before pointing back to the paste made of the seeds.

"Maybe we should try adding a little of the fruit seeds to each of these and see what happens? That way in case we accidentally blow up the bowls all of your hard work won't go to waste, with any luck."
