Especially not when Geralt tells him something that piques his interest all over again, though it requires some thought before responding.

He'll let a moment go by for contemplation and to take a bite of the stewed fish he's been gifted with. It's excellent, so one bite turns into a few as he continues to think. ]

Then you'll want to have a plan in place for if you do make that choice to send things over the metaphorical edge whether you're planning to right then or not. Some choices don't give you a chance to think first.

Not from a lack of appetite - or appreciation for the cook, considering this is above and beyond anything he could attempt himself - but because this is the kind of puzzle he truly enjoys being presented with. Puzzle feels like the right term for it since there's so many details yet to be filled in if Geralt deems to volunteer them. ]

Better to have multiple plans while you're at it since added contingencies never hurt to cover as much as you can think of either to prevent things from going worse or for success. And have those in place who would be willing to carry them out, though that part goes without saying.
