"Do we." The comment is neutral, leaving room for Blake to elaborate if he cares to. The thing about Geralt is while he rarely pries, he doesn't mind hearing what they wish to share.
Though he supposes the crows have done much of the sharing for them.
The truth is, Geralt hasn't a damn clue why Blake attached himself to the Witcher. At first, he imagined he was an easy hire—a monster hunter who'll take a job from nearly anyone—but since finding the gifts on his doorstep, he isn't sure what to think. Geralt does not make friends easily. More than that, he knows immediately when he's crossed paths with the right personality to seek his company. People like Jaskier or Dean or Sam. Not a man he frightened off within minutes.
The toothpick swords crack under his feet as they walk. There are worse things than to be told his presence is reassuring.
"You heard what you heard," he replies simply. "I don't hide my past."
He just sees no need to share it without cause. For the most part, it isn't relevant—but now that Blake has unwittingly glimpsed his share, there's no point in pretending otherwise.
