Glad to see her following, the Doctor is just further excited and encouraged, pleased by the suggestion she's offered. Adventures, of course, are what he lives for — adventuring across the universe, as he does. But the idea of leaving it to chance appeals to him, too. For a moment, he seems indecisive and he makes a show of pondering it hard, eyes narrowing in thought, even tapping his index finger to the bottom of his lip as he contemplates.

"Good options, but adventures you said, and I do love those. I'm something of an adventurer myself," he grins, so he turns back to the shelves, searching for a title in that genre, rubbing his finger along the spines until he settles on one.

"Ah, here we go! The Lost Kingdom of Eldoria. Oh, that sounds a treat." He flips through the first few pages, but then looks up, as if it just occurs to him, and he holds out his hand. "If we're reading a book together, should introduce myself. I'm the Doctor!"
