"They were all grown when I was still a child." It doesn't occur to Diana to measure the gap in years; before spending time among mortals, years never meant much to her. She knew that her sisters and mother were very old, and that among them, she was the youngest. That was all that truly mattered to her on the island, and she hasn't been away long enough to realize the importance of the measure of a year to the average human.
