Aspects of it are familiar, though the magic is new for me. War, unfortunately, isn't new at all. But the mechanisms of our arrival, the nature of the Singularity, the Horizon — it's all new. I've heard from some this world is an improvement on their circumstances before they were brought here, and for others it's too terribly far from where they'd want to be. For all of us, though, we had no choice one way or another.
