Mags is an interesting person. The Crow Club, it's our home because we're part of the gang, most homes you have to work for or have reasons to be there. She had no real reason to take us all in, it was because she's a good person. And that's not something I'm really used to.

[ Good people. Jesper would have used to say that his father was the best person he knows, but in retrospect he's stopped looking at Colm that way. And not in the bad sense, the fact that his father is flawed has given them a lot of better moments, rather than a child worshipping a parent. They found themselves on the same level. But true altruism is so bizarre to him. It is the kind of thing Inej would do though, a generous heart, taking care of others.

Sam too, maybe that's where it came down to. Sam found someone like him in this giant desert city and somehow it ended up this way. Jesper is a momma's boy at his core. Mags just happens to be his current mother figure. There aren't a lot of purely good people in his world. Jesper's used to corruption and violence. So of course he wants to caretake Mags right back. ]
