[ Jesper is not someone who needs or expects the words back. He is unerringly confident in himself and in his worth. Not always, he has his blind spots like anyone else, but he knows he's lovable, that he's cared about and needed. Sylvain's affection for him is being expressed very clearly at the moment which is why he does what he does, which is make words to say what's in his heart.

He knows Sylvain better than the man expects, because Jesper is very observant and they've been lovers for a year now, he pays close attention. He knew that their relationship was unique for Sylvain, being someone who wanted him in his bed and keeping him there, that sex was only part of a bigger relationship. He doesn't know if anyone has told Sylvain he loves him before, but that's fine. If he's the first, good, then he's heard it at least.

He smiles into that tight hug and takes Sylvain's hand, pressing a kiss to his palm lovingly, and putting it against his cheek. Just nuzzling into it, affectionate and content. ]
