[ The inside is obviously more difficult for her to accept because it's her inn and her home, but she's approved of all the plans. Just very, very, very, very reluctantly. It was satisfying to see her look at the patio of a kind they'd put together and reluctantly seem accepting of it. She may even like it.
Jesper gets it though, there's a particular sort of person who doesn't like accepting help. Neither Sam or Jesper are great at it either. They'd always prefer doing it for other people, same as Mag, and that's probably why they managed to finagle an agreement out of her. Like recognizes like.
He shakes out his hands while he settles into a sitting position. They're what he does all his Grisha work with and get a little numb after too much use. Since he basically modifies everything he touches on a molecular level, it requires a lot of focus, even if to him it feels completely natural. But he can barely feel his fingers at the moment, which means he's gone over the top. It's hard to see that when Jesper keeps going one more table, one more modification, and convincing himself it's no big deal. Other people might feel an ache from overuse, for him it's the opposite. ]
I wish there was a smoother way to get new Summoned here than hoping they hear word of mouth, or us trying to wait and look for them. They probably wouldn't let us put up a poster in the barracks.
