[ Steve was really the only choice. Jesper could ask others but he's not sure they could convince Sam to go an extended time. He'd have to create a problem elsewhere to send him away and hurry. Instead he can get Steve to waste some time, doing whatever the two of them like to do. He's relieved when Steve agrees because his backup plans were not good ones, even if Jesper would have found a way to make it work.

He does take it seriously. Jesper rarely takes anything seriously, he's a very cavalier young man usually, but he makes exceptions for things that matter to him. This is one of those. ]

[ The current beds are fine and can fit two people, but not as comfortably as the bigger sizes he picked out. He doesn't actually know if Sam and Steve are a thing, but he ships it so he'll make hints anyway. He knows what he's about. He waggles his eyebrows at Steve. ]
