"The best defense is to assume everyone intends you ill will and then have them prove to you that they mean you no harm," Sansa says. "Perhaps that reveals my hand but it is the method that is most effective for me. My mind is a keener weapon than any other I might wield."

Sansa shrugs lightly. "However, this magic may prove to be a better weapon should I learn it well. It will keep me safer than my own hands are able to."
