magicalarchaeologist: (leaning over books)

"Name an insane situation we've had before, and it'll be proof enough. The rifts, the heralds. Being stuck in strange places in the Horizon. I was told there was an entity who tried to break into this world and haunted people in their nightmares and there was memory sharing out of no where. When it comes to the gods or the Singularity, it's never been something we ourselves stop."

He did hear that with the entity they did a spell to drive it back, but it's hard to say if that's why it actually stopped. Istredd would still put it down to it deciding to give up or perhaps the Singularity got involved. The point is, they are quite often at the mercy of the world around them.

"As far as I know it's never done this before though." Otherwise Istredd assumes someone would have mentioned it openly. It would be a memory that was shared. Instead everyone seems concerned, but also, helpless. Istredd doesn't like it at all. This is enormously frustrating but he's a realist. Being annoyed won't solve anything.

"Then again, it's not as if we have a great deal of control when it's real world situations either, given we're still under Thorne's thumb." Nocwich, the cult kidnapping, it didn't take the supernatural to do any of that.
