Clinic Moving Log
Who: Salves & Stitches staff and anyone who wants to help
When: March
Where: Cadens
What: Moving all the apothecary stuff from one location to another while trying to deal with the weather
Warnings: Will add if needed
The storms were entirely unexpected. Had Nadine known, she wouldn't have begun the moving of the apothecary the day before they began.
But here they are. The move has already begun, and with the storms they're going to need all three rooms for the clinic. With the low visibility and the high winds, injuries abound. It's not fun, but the staff and various volunteer helpers seem up to the task despite the meteorological chaos happening in the city.
The winds have never been like this inside the walls. Dust and street detritus blows against the windows of both the clinic and the new apothecary shop, and threatens to fling them open. The same dust and detritus blows in every time a door is wrestled opened. The howl of the winds makes it difficult to be heard. But as promised, there's food and drink at both locations for anyone lending a hand. Along with basins of clean water and cloths to wipe off the grime from the dust storms.
Protective gear has been provided - goggles, scarves, gloves and cloaks - and as much protection for equipment and stock as possible. Some of the glass containers have been enhanced by Jesper for durability, but there's plenty of fragile glass to worry about. Not to mention the apothecary equipment and tools, and all the various odds and ends.
And all of it needs to be taken blocks away.
