The Luna were close with the Summoned but they aren't particularly happy with us at the moment. The conflict began because they wanted an artifact of Ikorr destroyed and wanted us to take their side. We disagreed.

Istredd was a passionate defender of the artifact and truthfully the Luna lost his trust with that choice. To be so foolish as to want to destroy an artifact without knowing what would happen, and expecting their loyalty, rubbed him the wrong way. ]
The Summoned do hold some minor authority in this sphere. We have our own representatives that we vote on every few months, we are allowed to ask for boons. Both portals to Nott and Borrel were created by our request.
[ And it ended up helping everyone in the end, but it did open this place up for their exploration. Technically Istredd wanted to go to Hayle, he had no interest in Borrel, but it has led him to get more naval history books. A win is a win. ]
They used to not pay us for our work in the castle, that changed recently. We weren't allowed to carry any weapons either, before.

No money, no self-defense options. They kept the Summoned fully dependent on them for everything. Istredd finally has the money to buy himself books and has a decent collection going. It's the small things he has come to appreciate.
