"It's only a bit so far," Sansa warns him. "So I do not want you to be terribly impressed. I have worked all this time simply to be able to make it, much less do anything with it."

Sansa isn't one to normally admit her weaknesses but Jon is a safe enough person to mention her deficiency in magic to. He won't use it against her or use it as blackmail to force her into things she does not want. She cannot say that about most people who are in Thorne, given that they are unknown quantities.

"I simply just do not want to worry about being hurt ever again. I can use my mind, of course, but I need a weapon."
