"Orpheus's is a singular talent, this is true," Zagreus agrees. "I've not had the honour of hearing Apollo myself, but apart from him but I'd say the only one who could compare is Eurydice. She's his muse, after all."

And his partner in music. Orpheus might be the one who had all the credit, but both Orpheus and Eurydice had stressed how their music was just as much hers as it was his. Sometimes even more so.

"But there was a time where Orpheus was refusing to play at all. And yes, Father did make Orpheus his bard. Though he certainly wasn't happy with his refusal to sing."
