[Cadaevos. The shrine does make sense, now that the pieces fall into place. A lesser man might have been startled or shocked by her appearance, her True Form. John, a fellow god himself, understands an honor when it is presented to him.

John places a hand upon his chest and offers her the most gentlemanly of bows in return (a leftover habit from a former life, although he does not realize that).]

Herald. I did not mean to intrude. I am a wanderer, as I am sure you know, and I had only just come upon your shrine and its offerings.

[He looks back upon the flesh and bone laid out before them, but there is no disgust to be found there. He is the Patron of Verity. Death is but another truth of life, after all.]

Perhaps my feet led me where I most needed to be. I have often found that most to be the case: here with you now, and perhaps tonight I will find myself at the end of a path with a nice warm meal and a bed to rest my head in.

[He glances back up at her. At her folded wings. At her golden crown.]

Do you find it so yourself? Ah -- forgive me if it is too bold a question. I do not wish to presume what a life you must live.
