Claire's simply relaxing in the shallows as she reads, but the book quickly disappears and she smiles with warmth. Her daughter-in-law (might as well be, truly) is a welcome sight, and it means more to her that she's come to visit alone. She doesn't mind whatever form either of them take when they visit, she enjoys seeing both of them; the clothes don't matter to Claire at all.

"The water is always just right, you won't be disappointed." It's slightly restorative, and she'll feel better for having even a short swim.

And because she can't help but slightly shift into mothering mode, there's a gentleness to her voice when she follows up with a question.

"Is everything alright?"
